    This place was absolutely amazing. I never write 5 star reviews but they deserve it. Everything was done perfectly. The waiter was the best I've ever had he was extremely attentive and pleasant. The food was phenomenal, from appetizer to entree to desert. It isn't cheap but worth the price, my family and I went twice during our stay in Bethany.

    Can't say anything about the food, but I stopped in with my buddy Steve for a quick beer, and the bartenders had character. The beer selection was decent, (though they were out of a few beers) and we sat and enjoyed our pints while chatting with the staff and looking around. The ceiling was littered with dollar bills, made us look twice. Turn out you can tip by wrapping a quarter and a thumbtack in a dollar and tossing it at the ceiling. It sticks, then watch out for the quarter eventually. There was also a huge Wii screen that looked like fun; a bunch of controllers hanging on the wall. Interesting. So that's the bar experience.

    This is my first review. Me and my Wife we eat a couple times here. The first time it was nice. Good Greek menu. The second time it was mediocre. I try to go back many times I like Greek food and the people. I do have a lot Greek friends, and I am very familiar with the food I'm in Restaurant & Hospitality for many years and always I try to tell my Wife we should give at least tree times.( Sometimes we all have a bad Day/Nights) So this time on this weekend/ holiday 4 july, I told my wife please let's try again Turquoise-Restaurant, I heared they have new menu and new chef...Oh boy.. I eat the "Delmarva Ettuffe" the plate it was hot the food cold, I send back to microwave and I get sick for 3 days. The only Greek Appetizer ( Spanakopia) ..it was so, so, so... the Crab Cakes was good also the Greek coffe.... Well, I should have listened to what my wife said on the second visit....no more "TURQUOISE" for Greek-Restaurant.... Sorry, we will not be coming back.

    Was with my Greek-American wife yearning for good Greek food at the beach, we had such high hopes for Turquoise...one look at the dinner menu and those hopes were dashed. Very limited offerings, $29 rack of Lamb wasn't what I was looking for or expecting from this lowkey place located in a strip of businesses. I wanted Souvaklia, Gyros, Avgolemono, but those were offered only on the lunch menu. The good included a very sweet waitress, pretty decent beer selection, and toasty and warm Spanikopita. My wife got the fried shrimp dinner, not real Greek but the only thing she said sounded good....to be fair, the shrimp (8-9 fairly large) was fried lightly and was good..the fries served with it boardwalk style and also tasty. The not so good? A dark and oddly designed dining room, a really limited and uninspired menu, and food that was just OK. I got the Greek salad with grilled chicken, which was fair. A few Feta crumbles, no olives, no pepperocinis, no life and not Greek inspired. Two others in our party got the chicken with Gnocchi...they said it was just OK.... this place is just phoning it in...not going back Kalinikta

    From the outside it doesn't look like much- its stuck at the end of strip mall and could be a souvenir store or any other beach shop. The inside really doesn't have much of interest either to be honest- most Greek restaurant try to bring a little Mediterranean feel to them, but Turquoise really didn't even try. The best part of the meal was the staff- very friendly and accommodating, even with our large party. The food was mediocre though. I had the gyro platter. The meat didn't have much flavor, the onions were practically raw, and the couscous was equally bland. The baklava for dessert was on the harder side, and also not very flavorful. Overall it wasn't a bad experinece, but not sure if it would ever be worth going back.

    I got pesto pasta and my gf got crab cakes two of the easiest dishes to not mess up and they were flavorless and expensive. The toilet was clogged and there were flies all over the restaurant.

    This is one of the best dinners we have had. The food was some of the best prepared and presented as if it was a top notch restaurant. Considering the price of between 20-$25/entree, I think it was a great deal. This was a real surprise at the beach since it is in a strip mall and looks like a typical casual restaurant. Our sever, Nick, couldn't have been more enthusiastic, helpful or appreciative. He told us all about the owner who is also the chef as well as some of the other people preparing the foods. He was very knowledgeable about everything. Nick said his Mom prepared the desserts and they were also great. We had the Osso Bucco as well as the Ahi Tuna which were great. We also had the crab bruschetta appetizer which was amazing, very light and tasty. We cannot recommend this place enough. We were so pleased to come upon it and will definitely go back!

    The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food and drinks..........leave a lot to be desired. First we ordered caipirinha from their drink menu - they arrived missing the muddled mint and were not sweet tasting at all. They took them back and added the mint and some more rum, but they still tasted like sour grain alcohol. I don't think they had any cachaca. The waitress said the menu had a misprint and mint was not an ingredient in the drink - really? Then the food arrived. Their signature Osso Bucco came served with root vegetables. I couldn't distinguish one vegetable from the other. They all looked brown and were pasty and all tasted the same - bland. the lamb was tough and over cooked. - This was their signature dish? My wife had the flounder with capers - fish was fresh, but again the dish had no flavor. the couscous had no seasonings, and we were told the chef added the capers to the dish at the end - kind of like a garnish. I'm not a chef, but don't the capers usually get cooked with the main dish to flavor the sauce that is used at the topping? Will not go back - waste of good money on bad food.

    Very good Greek food. The restaurant is very low key and quiet - at least it was when we went there for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We had the dip sampler which was very tasty. My one criticism is to better separate the dips on the plate as they all merged into each other. They had plenty of fresh pitas to go around. The hubby had the beef gyro which he inhaled and I had the chicken souvlaki which was very tasty. The staff was very friendly and helpful, acknowledging we had two young children with us and had a limited amount of time to eat. Would definitely recommend.

    We went in to try and avoid the long line at cottage cafe and just to try something new. We were a bit apprehensive because another party just left when we got there with their food untouched. Our waitress arrived at the restaurant at the same time we did and was bubbly and happy as ever. She was knowledgable about the menu and very nice. As we were waiting and waiting for our appetizer we were wondering what the holdup was. Our waitress was the only one serving the entire restaurant. By the end of the hour she was snippy and grumpy. There were other waitstaff just standing around. As far as the food you would expect that for a Greek slash American restaurant, certain Mediterranean staples would be exceptional. The Greek salad and dolmades were tasty. The crab cakes and fried flounder were as expected. The lamb gyro however was extraordinarily dry. Very disappointing. All in all its nice to try new restaurants but I don't think we will be returning.

    Really nice staff / owners! Good food, generous portions and overall a good 'different' option at the beach. Great value for the money. Highly recommend supporting this place! Note: this isn't a 'fine dining' restaurant, but the 5 star review is relative to expectations of a casual restaurant. No complaints whatsoever!

    A lot of the reviews on here did not help me to have great expectations about the restaurant. Nonetheless, I had a great meal at Turquoise and the service was excellent. We got there around 5:15pm and there were not many people in there, but as we sat and ate our meal the restaurant filled up quite a bit with large parties of families. I ordered the Greek salad and added gyro meat to it, and my mother did the same. As opposed to another review on here, the gyro meat was excellent. It was perfectly moist and had a great flavor; it was just how gyro meat should be. My father got the gyro platter which was also excellent. Everything that we ordered was fresh and had a great taste; you could tell everything was homemade. The dolmades (grape leaves) were absolutely perfect. They had a delicious lemon sauce on them with a nice vinegar flavor. For dessert, we had the homemade baklava. It was excellent and had the perfect amount of sauce so it was just moist enough. Our waiter, Nick, was absolutely fantastic. He was very enthusiastic and very knowledgable about everything. His father-in-law owns the restaurant and is the chef. The only complaint was that it took him a little while to refill our drinks, but that was it. We will definitely be returning to Turquoise on our future trips up here. Everything was excellent.

    Went for dinner Sunday evening with my wife. Place wasn't too busy, but the receptionist told us we would have to wait for a table to be cleared. (There were cleared tables available.) After an inordinate wait, I complained. The receptionist was annoyed but finally went and cleared off a table. When the bread arrived, the top was warm and the inside and bottom were frozen. Food was mediocre but expensive. We will not be back.

    Named for the turquoise waters of the Aegean Sea, the Turquoise Restaurant is situated within Sea Colony Marketplace off of Coastal Highway in southern Bethany Beach. We are Greek, and always up for good Greek food. My parents have had a positive experience at this restaurant, so I wanted to try it for the first time when I came down for Memorial Day weekend. I ordered avgolemono soup (like chicken noodle but with orzo and a mild lemony flavor) and pastitsio (Greek lasagna). Avgolemono soup can either be made with a chicken broth base or a cream base, and I prefer the cream version, whereas here it is made with the chicken broth as a base. Still, it was VERY good. The pastitsio was not dry on top at all and EXTREMELY dense, exactly as it should be. Portion size is quite large, and you'll be able to share bits and pieces of your meal with others and still be full..... or you can keep it all to yourself and make an extra meal out of it! My family ordered the lamb shank with linguine, Greek salad (which is a la carte, my only complaint), and the salmon with fasolakia (green beans and tomatoes). Everything was delicious. The coleslaw is made in house as are a few Greek desserts. There are a few pie and torte selections that they bring in from a local distributor/bakery. I believe the prime location leads to slightly inflated prices, but the restaurant is still worth a visit. Outdoor and indoor seating is available. Definitely a spot I'd like to try again, and I hear it's excellent for breakfast as well.

    This is my second attempt to get a review posted. Before July 4th, we went to Turquoise and it was the worst Greek food we have ever tasted. I never write negative reviews, but don't believe the five-star raves. The gyro was like shoe rubber in shreds, the kabobs were overcooked and the sauce was tasteless.

    We've been waiting a long time for a GREAT Greek restaurant at the beach and it is finally here! We sat at the bar and the server was very friendly and helped us with the menu. Everything was exceptionally good...the avgolemono soup was very good, the dolmades were perfect and the warm lemon sauce was a nice touch! I had the spanakopita which was Incredible especially with the tzatiki. My husband had a gyro platter and was very happy. We will be going back to try everything on the menu. Turquoise compares to authentic Greek restaurants in New York. It is a restaurant to check out, you will not be disappointed!

    We stopped at this recently opened restaurant. I will never return. I ordered the Veal Parmesan. It was served on a bed of spaghetti. My first few bites from the edge were ok. Then I noticed the spaghetti had not been drained and the Veal were sitting in a puddle of water. both the veal and the garlic bread had soaked up water and were soggy. I called the waiter over and pointed out the water. He picked up my plate with no comment and went to the kitchen. Instead of bringing out a replacement dish, he brought the check, charging me in full, no comment, just left it and disappeared. Very strange...

    Turquoise is still going through growing pains. We had gone in earlier to get a menu, and so were surprised to find out when we arrived that our choices, grilled sandwiches, were not available for dinner. Deli sandwiches and gyro and souvlaki pitas were also unavailable although the menu we had studied did not say so. But the four of us had a pleasant dinner there. Food was good, not great, and my pastichio was generous enough that I took half home with me. Spanakopita as a meal was also good, with light flaky filo dough. However, all four meals came with soup or Greek salads. Two of us specified house, not Greek, salads and as we were eating them, it occurred to me that the other two had not received anything and surely they should have, so I asked. The waitress could not answer any questions about the food, sort of blamed the guys for not ordering the soup or salad (I think she said "oh, good call" when I asked if they ought to have them) Her reason was for not asking was that she said several times that she did not know the menu yet. Moussaka was so-so. Flounder was tasty, but clearly not fresh. Maybe the lamb would have been better. And the soup of the day and the regular soup (avgolemono, and excellent ) were the same soup! Or so she said. Management should never put a waiter or waitress on the floor until they are ready. While we thought the food was okay, and were very surprised (and delighted, I add) that the wine cost less than on the menu (was it happy hour? A special? Who knows), had we realized , there might have been a few more glasses ordered! Over all impression..............I will give them a season to work out the kinks. I am eager to try the other new Greek restaurant, Furies, to see how they compare. (Disclaimer :I don't eat Greek food often, so can really critique the ambiance and service more than the authenticity of food itself.)

    Good food, friendly staff, great dancing. I am definitely coming here again!! The hostess got us a great table even though I did not have a reservation (next time I will call ahead to get a reservation especially on the nights they have the dancer :) Our waitress Lisa was excellent!! She did not hesitate in letting us sample a couple of wines before we chose the one we liked best. She checked in on us often but not too often. We were also getting a to go order for our babysitter and Lisa suggested heating the baklava before eating. Great advice!! The lemon soup was good after I squeezed some more lemon into it. The moussaka was perfect and so was the chicken parmesan. The lambs on the skewers was a little dry but the flavor was good. The baklava was good but the chocolate cake was to die for. Definitely get the sweetened Greek coffee with your desserts. :)

    My family and I ate here a few weeks ago while on vacation. The atmosphere is nice and our waiter Nick was very welcoming, thorough, and friendly. The portions are huge, yet reasonably priced. I ordered the Greek sampler, which is enough to feed 2-3 people. It was good- not the best Greek food I've had, but good. My dad had tilapia stuffed with feta and spinach, which he thoroughly enjoyed. My mom and husband had chicken parmesan- nothing extraordinary, but both liked it well enough. My mom originally wanted eggplant parmesan, as advertised on the menu on their website, but it was not available. The waiter said something about it being seasonal or occasional, and that the menu online hadn't been updated in a while. We enjoyed the belly dancing show as we waited for our food. I like that they have various forms of entertainment each night (poker, trivia, a singer, the belly dancing). Once again though, the website says belly dancing is on Wednesday, but they changed it to Thursday for the summer. I would not have known this had I not started following their Facebook page a few weeks before our visit. They need to update their website with more current information, even if it's just seasonal. I would go back, though we probably won't soon since we're only in town one week a year and like to try new restaurants each year.

    I, my immediate family, my extended family, and anyone else I know will NEVER come here again. I hope the manager reads this so she can fix the problem. But after the way we were treated, something tells me not only does she not review these sites to identify possible issues but also doesn't care what patrons think. The Irony is almost comical. My wife and I went there at 4:45 PM on a Sunday looking to get an early dinner out of the way. As usual we sat in the bar area high table to watch the large TV as we ate. After not being acknowledged for about five minutes, I went up to the bar and ask for a couple menus. The male bartender went to get a couple menus, brought them back, then asked 'can I get you two something to drink'? I asked for a couple glasses of water with lemon while we looked over the menu. I then went back to my table. For the next few minutes the bartender was chatting it up with people at the bar. We patiently sat waiting for our drinks. Then the bartender starting to clean his station. Literally he was taking things from the lower bar area (like the plastic thing you find olives, cherries, limes, and lemons) and placing them on the counter and cleaning. We still sat patiently waiting for our waters, but now getting agitated. The cleaning and chatting went on for a few more minutes. The bartender made eye contact and still did nothing. By now, it had been 15 minutes and we had no service or water. That is when we decided to leave. If they did not want our business, this is how to show it. I wish the story stopped here. On the way out, I saw what I thought was the manager. I asked if she was, and she responded "yes". We relayed what had happened and she immediately said,' maybe he did not hear you ask'. Number one, that is the wrong response. I said, 'no he heard us and acknowledged us'. I should have said, 'he was the one that asked us, what do you mean he did not hear us'? Anyway, the manager was not looking to right a wrong and we left as planned. However, I left my hat and had to go back into the lion's den. My wife went in while I was double parked. She came out with another great part to this story. On her way out of the place again my wife said to the manager, 'you know I like (present tense) this place but that was the worst service I have ever had'. Again immediately the manager went to the defense of the bartender and said, 'he was busy changing a tap' (BTW- I ordered water. So what does a tap have to do with it?). My wife replied ,'no he wasn't. He was cleaning the bar back'. She then gave my wife the "shoo" sign with her hand as if to say "get out". Then my wife said ,'I meant to say I liked (past tense) this place'. And she left. The managers behavior was such that I got the impression the bartender was either a family member or some other close relationship where they could do no wrong in her eyes. BIG MISTAKE YOU LOST MY BUSINESS!!!! I will be surprised if they are hear in two years. OK food plus bad service equals out of business. There were so many things wrong with this situation tonight: 1- We sat way to long with no one even coming to the table 2- After we went to the bar and ordered drinks the bartender pretty much blew us off to rub elbows with the people sitting at the bar 3- After making eye contact with the unofficial 'hey buddy where is my drinks' signal, he continued to blow us off 4- The manager did not try to fix the problem and dismissed our claim as a 'communication issue' 5-The manager then non verbally gave a the "shooing" hand motion. That is totally disrespectful and let me know she did not care what patrons think of her restaurant. So after that, we went to the greatest Italian place around. It is not Greek as this place is, but who cares. I encourage everyone to visit Mancini's in Fenwick instead of going to this "coin toss". At least at Mancini's you know every time will be great.

The Greek salad and dolmades were tasty. The crab cakes and fried flounder were as expected. The lamb gyro however was extraordinarily dry. Very disappointing. All in all its nice to try new restaurants but I don't think we will be returning.

    Really nice staff / owners! Good food, generous portions and overall a good 'different' option at the beach. Great value for the money. Highly recommend supporting this place! Note: this isn't a 'fine dining' restaurant, but the 5 star review is relative to expectations of a casual restaurant. No complaints whatsoever!

    A lot of the reviews on here did not help me to have great expectations about the restaurant. Nonetheless, I had a great meal at Turquoise and the service was excellent. We got there around 5:15pm and there were not many people in there, but as we sat and ate our meal the restaurant filled up quite a bit with large parties of families. I ordered the Greek salad and added gyro meat to it, and my mother did the same. As opposed to another review on here, the gyro meat was excellent. It was perfectly moist and had a great flavor; it was just how gyro meat should be. My father got the gyro platter which was also excellent. Everything that we ordered was fresh and had a great taste; you could tell everything was homemade. The dolmades (grape leaves) were absolutely perfect. They had a delicious lemon sauce on them with a nice vinegar flavor. For dessert, we had the homemade baklava. It was excellent and had the perfect amount of sauce so it was just moist enough. Our waiter, Nick, was absolutely fantastic. He was very enthusiastic and very knowledgable about everything. His father-in-law owns the restaurant and is the chef. The only complaint was that it took him a little while to refill our drinks, but that was it. We will definitely be returning to Turquoise on our future trips up here. Everything was excellent.

    Went for dinner Sunday evening with my wife. Place wasn't too busy, but the receptionist told us we would have to wait for a table to be cleared. (There were cleared tables available.) After an inordinate wait, I complained. The receptionist was annoyed but finally went and cleared off a table. When the bread arrived, the top was warm and the inside and bottom were frozen. Food was mediocre but expensive. We will not be back.

    Named for the turquoise waters of the Aegean Sea, the Turquoise Restaurant is situated within Sea Colony Marketplace off of Coastal Highway in southern Bethany Beach. We are Greek, and always up for good Greek food. My parents have had a positive experience at this restaurant, so I wanted to try it for the first time when I came down for Memorial Day weekend. I ordered avgolemono soup (like chicken noodle but with orzo and a mild lemony flavor) and pastitsio (Greek lasagna). Avgolemono soup can either be made with a chicken broth base or a cream base, and I prefer the cream version, whereas here it is made with the chicken broth as a base. Still, it was VERY good. The pastitsio was not dry on top at all and EXTREMELY dense, exactly as it should be. Portion size is quite large, and you'll be able to share bits and pieces of your meal with others and still be full..... or you can keep it all to yourself and make an extra meal out of it! My family ordered the lamb shank with linguine, Greek salad (which is a la carte, my only complaint), and the salmon with fasolakia (green beans and tomatoes). Everything was delicious. The coleslaw is made in house as are a few Greek desserts. There are a few pie and torte selections that they bring in from a local distributor/bakery. I believe the prime location leads to slightly inflated prices, but the restaurant is still worth a visit. Outdoor and indoor seating is available. Definitely a spot I'd like to try again, and I hear it's excellent for breakfast as well.

    This is my second attempt to get a review posted. Before July 4th, we went to Turquoise and it was the worst Greek food we have ever tasted. I never write negative reviews, but don't believe the five-star raves. The gyro was like shoe rubber in shreds, the kabobs were overcooked and the sauce was tasteless.

    We've been waiting a long time for a GREAT Greek restaurant at the beach and it is finally here! We sat at the bar and the server was very friendly and helped us with the menu. Everything was exceptionally good...the avgolemono soup was very good, the dolmades were perfect and the warm lemon sauce was a nice touch! I had the spanakopita which was Incredible especially with the tzatiki. My husband had a gyro platter and was very happy. We will be going back to try everything on the menu. Turquoise compares to authentic Greek restaurants in New York. It is a restaurant to check out, you will not be disappointed!

    We stopped at this recently opened restaurant. I will never return. I ordered the Veal Parmesan. It was served on a bed of spaghetti. My first few bites from the edge were ok. Then I noticed the spaghetti had not been drained and the Veal were sitting in a puddle of water. both the veal and the garlic bread had soaked up water and were soggy. I called the waiter over and pointed out the water. He picked up my plate with no comment and went to the kitchen. Instead of bringing out a replacement dish, he brought the check, charging me in full, no comment, just left it and disappeared. Very strange...

    Turquoise is still going through growing pains. We had gone in earlier to get a menu, and so were surprised to find out when we arrived that our choices, grilled sandwiches, were not available for dinner. Deli sandwiches and gyro and souvlaki pitas were also unavailable although the menu we had studied did not say so. But the four of us had a pleasant dinner there. Food was good, not great, and my pastichio was generous enough that I took half home with me. Spanakopita as a meal was also good, with light flaky filo dough. However, all four meals came with soup or Greek salads. Two of us specified house, not Greek, salads and as we were eating them, it occurred to me that the other two had not received anything and surely they should have, so I asked. The waitress could not answer any questions about the food, sort of blamed the guys for not ordering the soup or salad (I think she said "oh, good call" when I asked if they ought to have them) Her reason was for not asking was that she said several times that she did not know the menu yet. Moussaka was so-so. Flounder was tasty, but clearly not fresh. Maybe the lamb would have been better. And the soup of the day and the regular soup (avgolemono, and excellent ) were the same soup! Or so she said. Management should never put a waiter or waitress on the floor until they are ready. While we thought the food was okay, and were very surprised (and delighted, I add) that the wine cost less than on the menu (was it happy hour? A special? Who knows), had we realized , there might have been a few more glasses ordered! Over all impression..............I will give them a season to work out the kinks. I am eager to try the other new Greek restaurant, Furies, to see how they compare. (Disclaimer :I don't eat Greek food often, so can really critique the ambiance and service more than the authenticity of food itself.)

    Good food, friendly staff, great dancing. I am definitely coming here again!! The hostess got us a great table even though I did not have a reservation (next time I will call ahead to get a reservation especially on the nights they have the dancer :) Our waitress Lisa was excellent!! She did not hesitate in letting us sample a couple of wines before we chose the one we liked best. She checked in on us often but not too often. We were also getting a to go order for our babysitter and Lisa suggested heating the baklava before eating. Great advice!! The lemon soup was good after I squeezed some more lemon into it. The moussaka was perfect and so was the chicken parmesan. The lambs on the skewers was a little dry but the flavor was good. The baklava was good but the chocolate cake was to die for. Definitely get the sweetened Greek coffee with your desserts. :)

    I, my immediate family, my extended family, and anyone else I know will NEVER come here again. I hope the manager reads this so she can fix the problem. But after the way we were treated, something tells me not only does she not review these sites to identify possible issues but also doesn't care what patrons think. The Irony is almost comical. My wife and I went there at 4:45 PM on a Sunday looking to get an early dinner out of the way. As usual we sat in the bar area high table to watch the large TV as we ate. After not being acknowledged for about five minutes, I went up to the bar and ask for a couple menus. The male bartender went to get a couple menus, brought them back, then asked 'can I get you two something to drink'? I asked for a couple glasses of water with lemon while we looked over the menu. I then went back to my table. For the next few minutes the bartender was chatting it up with people at the bar. We patiently sat waiting for our drinks. Then the bartender starting to clean his station. Literally he was taking things from the lower bar area (like the plastic thing you find olives, cherries, limes, and lemons) and placing them on the counter and cleaning. We still sat patiently waiting for our waters, but now getting agitated. The cleaning and chatting went on for a few more minutes. The bartender made eye contact and still did nothing. By now, it had been 15 minutes and we had no service or water. That is when we decided to leave. If they did not want our business, this is how to show it. I wish the story stopped here. On the way out, I saw what I thought was the manager. I asked if she was, and she responded "yes". We relayed what had happened and she immediately said,' maybe he did not hear you ask'. Number one, that is the wrong response. I said, 'no he heard us and acknowledged us'. I should have said, 'he was the one that asked us, what do you mean he did not hear us'? Anyway, the manager was not looking to right a wrong and we left as planned. However, I left my hat and had to go back into the lion's den. My wife went in while I was double parked. She came out with another great part to this story. On her way out of the place again my wife said to the manager, 'you know I like (present tense) this place but that was the worst service I have ever had'. Again immediately the manager went to the defense of the bartender and said, 'he was busy changing a tap' (BTW- I ordered water. So what does a tap have to do with it?). My wife replied ,'no he wasn't. He was cleaning the bar back'. She then gave my wife the "shoo" sign with her hand as if to say "get out". Then my wife said ,'I meant to say I liked (past tense) this place'. And she left. The managers behavior was such that I got the impression the bartender was either a family member or some other close relationship where they could do no wrong in her eyes. BIG MISTAKE YOU LOST MY BUSINESS!!!! I will be surprised if they are hear in two years. OK food plus bad service equals out of business. There were so many things wrong with this situation tonight: 1- We sat way to long with no one even coming to the table 2- After we went to the bar and ordered drinks the bartender pretty much blew us off to rub elbows with the people sitting at the bar 3- After making eye contact with the unofficial 'hey buddy where is my drinks' signal, he continued to blow us off 4- The manager did not try to fix the problem and dismissed our claim as a 'communication issue' 5-The manager then non verbally gave a the "shooing" hand motion. That is totally disrespectful and let me know she did not care what patrons think of her restaurant. So after that, we went to the greatest Italian place around. It is not Greek as this place is, but who cares. I encourage everyone to visit Mancini's in Fenwick instead of going to this "coin toss". At least at Mancini's you know every time will be great.

    My family and I ate here a few weeks ago while on vacation. The atmosphere is nice and our waiter Nick was very welcoming, thorough, and friendly. The portions are huge, yet reasonably priced. I ordered the Greek sampler, which is enough to feed 2-3 people. It was good- not the best Greek food I've had, but good. My dad had tilapia stuffed with feta and spinach, which he thoroughly enjoyed. My mom and husband had chicken parmesan- nothing extraordinary, but both liked it well enough. My mom originally wanted eggplant parmesan, as advertised on the menu on their website, but it was not available. The waiter said something about it being seasonal or occasional, and that the menu online hadn't been updated in a while. We enjoyed the belly dancing show as we waited for our food. I like that they have various forms of entertainment each night (poker, trivia, a singer, the belly dancing). Once again though, the website says belly dancing is on Wednesday, but they changed it to Thursday for the summer. I would not have known this had I not started following their Facebook page a few weeks before our visit. They need to update their website with more current information, even if it's just seasonal. I would go back, though we probably won't soon since we're only in town one week a year and like to try new restaurants each year.

    Our waiter was very cordial and had a great knowledge of the menu. We do not eat Greek a lot so I cannot judge, but it seemed bland. Spanokopita was cgood though. We thought it was also overpriced.

    Great Greek food, excellent Greek coffee, a very nice staff, and the owners drive to Maryland to purchase imported goods to keep it authentic. Had a very nice experience and the price was also nice.
